At what age should I switch from puppy to adult food?
Most dogs can transition to adult food at around 12 months. Large and giant breeds (over 25kg adult weight) should stay on puppy food until 18 months as they take longer to reach full maturity. The feeding table on this page shows exactly when to transition by breed size.
 
Why does this recipe contain marine algae? 
Marine algae is the most direct, sustainable source of DHA - the omega-3 fatty acid most critical for puppy brain and eye development. While salmon oil also provides omega-3, the algae ensures your puppy gets a reliable, highly bioavailable DHA source regardless of variation in fish oil content.
 
Is this suitable for puppies with sensitive stomachs?
Yes. The recipe is wheat-gluten free and uses sweet potato and pea starch rather than wheat or corn as the carbohydrate base - both much gentler on young digestive systems. The dual prebiotic blend (MOS & FOS) also actively supports healthy gut bacteria development.
